io games drop you into a big arena full of rivals. You start tiny, grow by collecting and by knocking others out, and climb the arena leaderboard until something bigger catches you. One mistake ends the run, which is what makes the next one so tempting.
On Aback Games every rival is computer-controlled and clearly marked AI, so rounds start instantly and never lag. The advice below works for all four arenas, then gets specific.
The first minute decides the run
At the start you are the smallest thing in the arena and everything can end you. Grow quietly: collect in open space away from crowds, and let bigger rivals fight each other. A run that survives the first minute usually lasts many more.
Read the minimap
Every arena on Aback Games has a minimap in the corner. Glance at it often. Big rivals show up there before they reach your screen, and it tells you where the empty space is when you need to run.
Pick fights you can win
Chasing is risky: while you hunt, you stop watching your back. Go after rivals that are clearly smaller or weaker, close by and cornered. Let the rest go. A steady climb beats a dramatic exit.
Edges and corners are traps for everyone. Push prey toward them and keep open space behind yourself.
Snake arenas: Coil Clash
In Coil Clash a snake is out when its head hits another snake’s body. Your body is your weapon.
- Cut across the path of a rival’s head instead of meeting it head on.
- Short boosts get you in front of a rival; long ones waste the length you worked for.
- Once you are long, circle a smaller snake to trap it inside your coil.
- Head for the trail a fallen snake leaves behind. It is worth far more than loose orbs.
Blob arenas: Blob Arena
In Blob Arena bigger blobs eat smaller ones, and you can split to lunge forward.
- Split only when your target is close and clearly less than half your size. A missed split leaves you in pieces.
- While you are small, hide near the thorns. Big blobs that chase you there burst apart.
- Throwing mass in front of a hungry rival can send it the wrong way while you escape.
Territory arenas: Turf Rush
In Turf Rush you claim land by leaving it and looping back, and you are out if anyone crosses your trail while you are away.
- Short, quick loops are safer than one huge one.
- Run along the edge of your own land to claim strips with very little trail exposed.
- A rival far from home with a long trail is an easy knockout: cross its trail anywhere.
Tank arenas: Tank Brawl
In Tank Brawl you level up by shooting crystals and rivals, and spend upgrade points on your tank.
- Farm small crystals early and put your first points into Reload and Caliber.
- Back away while you shoot. Most duels are won by the tank that keeps its distance.
- Lead your shots: aim where a moving tank will be, not where it is.
- Leave a fight before your health runs low. Repairs speed up once you stop getting hit.
Questions
Are the other players in these io games real people?
No. On Aback Games every rival is a computer-controlled player and is labelled AI on the leaderboard. That means no lag, no waiting for a server and no chat.
Do io games work on a phone?
Yes. In every arena on Aback Games you steer by dragging on the arena like a joystick, with on-screen buttons for actions such as boosting or splitting. They run in any modern mobile browser.
Is my best score saved?
Your best score for each difficulty is saved in your browser on this device. It is not uploaded, and there is no global leaderboard.
